Doctors are physicians who have completed medical school and residency programs to earn the right to treat patients. They use their extensive knowledge and diagnostic skills to assess and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries. They often work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Doctor responsibilities include performing patient examinations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, advising patients on lifestyle changes, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. They must also maintain detailed records of each patient, including medical history, exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment options. Many doctors specialize in particular areas of medicine, such as internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, or pediatrics.

It’s hard to rank the various incarnations of The Doctor, but Bradley does well by bringing a gentler and more caring heart to the role. He had the difficult task of replacing William Hartnell as The Doctor, but he managed to capture some of the irascible qualities that made the character so beloved in his own way. He’s more reminiscent of the older Doctors than the younger ones, though that could be because he’s nearing the end of his “first” life and is thus less cocky and more vulnerable.
